Facebook is a “Social Network”, sort of like MySpace. One of Facebook’s defining differences from MySpace, however, is that it has a much higher population of College or Post-Grad members which means that, in general, the atmosphere is much more professional and mature. So, if you are looking for a way to connect with your friends, or find new ones, without stooping to the level of disco balls, piercings, and high school lingo… Facebook is your network.

Note: If you are a single person and find the ads on Facebook distastful, change your relationship status to either “In a Relationship” or leave that element blank. That should greatly reduce the presence of any dating ads.
